SAX\u00ae Polymers Industrie AG has invested in a completely new compounding line and a new hall ventilation system with dust extraction and heat recovery. These investments open up new and extended possibilities for our customers: Thanks to the two side feeders of the new line, highly filled and very complex compound and masterbatch formulations can be efficiently processed in one step.

\nWith an output of approx. 1,500 kg\/h, these products can be produced under economically optimal conditions for our customers. With this investment, SAX\u00ae was able to increase its annual capacities by another 4’800 tons in order to expand the ABS CYCOLAC\u2122 licensing business with SABIC\u00ae and to further promote the current trends in connection with sustainable compound solutions.

\nThe existing possibilities with regard to cleanliness and flexibility were again significantly increased by the new hall ventilation with decentralised dust extraction and active carbon filter. Integrated heat recovery significantly reduced CO2 emissions at the Oberriet site, and SAX\u00ae Polymers is thus making a significant contribution to sustainable climate protection.
